Grand Parade of Lights, fireworks display and musical performances highlight annual township-wide celebrations

Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park township is all geared up as Iloilo
celebrates the world-renowned Dinagyang Festival 2020, staging a lineup of fun-filled festivities and spectacles.

As Iloilo’s biggest festival soars to greater heights with its grandest edition yet, Iloilo Business Park once again positions itself as the newest destination for more exciting activities that will exude the vibrancy of the Ilonggo way of merrymaking. Revelers will be treated to an array of activities that capture the rhythm, colors, and flavors of Iloilo.

For the third year in a row, the most-anticipated Dinagyang Grand Parade of Lights will
brighten up the entire stretch of Megaworld Boulevard, with bigger and grander floats
expected to illuminate to the 72-hectare township.

Starting from Diversion Road, the night parade of lighted floats will culminate at the Megaworld Iloilo Business Park, where judges will evaluate participating floats of groups, corporations or companies.

The larger than life floats will showcase the works of Ilonggo artists, with the grand winner set to win as much as P300,000. The display of colors will be capped off with a stunning grand fireworks display.

Colors and Flavors

In a bid to showcase Ilonggo beauty and talent, Iloilo’s most beautiful mall, Festive Walk Mall, hosted the Talent Competition of Miss Iloilo 2020 on Jan. 18, where 11 women hailing from the different towns of Iloilo province will vie for three titles at stake. Winners of Miss Iloilo – Earth, Miss Iloilo – Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Iloilo – World will get the chance to represent Iloilo to national pageants.

Itchyworms (January 23)

For those looking to satisfy their palate with various culinary delights, the Dinagyang Food Fest at the Festive Walk Parade will offer a range of food choices beginning Jan. 23.

Iloilo Business Park earlier kicked off the celebration with the Dinagyang Arts Festival at Festive Walk Mall. The exhibit, which runs from Jan. 10 to 26, seeks to promote Ilonggo culture and arts by displaying works by local artists.

Rhythm and Beats

From Jan. 23 to 26, merrymakers at the Festive Walk Parade will be serenaded with the music of Four Elements, Souled Out Band, The Dukes, The Juans, This Band, Leanne & Naara, The Itchyworms, and Orange & Lemons. Singer-songwriter Moira will be serenading the crowd, while DJ Roland Gars, Route83, DJ Young, DJ Mark Mira, DJ Pep Mayor are set to pump up the party.

Once again, the Viva Music Festival will conquer Iloilo by storm at the Iloilo Business Park on January 24-25. This year, revelers could mosh to the music of Valley of Chrome, Typecast and Slapshock or dance to the beat by Motherbass, DJ Nix Damn P!, Kat DJ, DJ Jet Boado, and more.

Dinagyang Festive Deals

Guests could get their hands on pasalubongs and Ilonggo crafts at Festive Walk Mall.
Merrymakers also could shop and dine their hearts out with special deals from Festive Walk Walk Mall’s partner establishments from Jan. 19 to 26.
